FIPP - Fitness & Injury Prevention Program

There is an inherent risk to all sports, soccer is no exception. At Park City Soccer Club, our goal is to reduce the risk to our young athletes through a comprehensive educational and practical program including training sessions, seminars and coach education. The Fitness and Injury Prevention Program introduces and reinforces proper techniques for running, jumping, landing, change of direction and other developmentally appropriate skills. Emphasis is placed on developing core strength, flexibility and balance while increasing aerobic and anaerobic fitness.

FIFA 11+ is a complete warm-up program to reduce injuries among male and female soccer players. Studies show that players that performed FIFA 11+ at least twice a week had 30 – 50% less injuries.  The program should be performed, as a standard warm-up at least twice a week and takes around 20 minutes to complete.
